Leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee checked the concentrated quarantine facility at the hotel

(LSO) – On the afternoon of July 3, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee checked the hotels in Lang Son city and Cao Loc district in paid centralized quarantine voluntary paid by isolated individuals.

The delegation checked  BaLa Hotel, Cao Loc District and Sao Mai Hotel, Hoa Sim Hotel, Lang Son City.

Through inspection, it is shown that all hotels for quarantine are arranged with police and medical forces on duty 24 hours a day, ensuring all conditions and regulations for quarantine activities to prevent and control the epidemic; fire safety and food hygiene are guaranteed; the quarantine person is satisfied with the physical conditions and service attitude in the quarantine area.

However, because the registered hotels as a quarantine base voluntarily paid by individuals are not in large-scale, the expert teams of quarantine have to separate; therefore, the purchase of test samples still faces many difficulties; medical forces on duty at quarantine facilities are still inadequate.

Concluding  the examination, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested that in the coming time, the functional forces continue to promote propaganda on the mass media; hotels and motels selected by the province as an quarantine center focusing on raising the sense of responsibility in ensuring food hygiene and safety, service quality and supporting functional forces on duty .

For quarantine work at hotels, motels, functional forces need to strictly manage service prices; check and review the quality of hotels and motels, resolutely remove from the list of quarantine facilities regarding hotels of poor quality or without hospitality. At the same time, good management of health, security and order; close coordination to manage of workers who illegally exit to China; the investigation, search and strictly handle of intermediaries and smuggled people across the border should be well implemented.

Department of Health continues to closely monitor disease prevention and control throughout the province, the entire border line and in concentrated quarantine facilities; soon complete the epidemic prevention plan suitable to the actual situation; strengthen human resources to support quarantine facilities; urgently procure preventive medical equipment and supplies, contributing to the effective implementation of the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the locality.

At present, the whole province has 11 motels and hotels of quarantine which is voluntarily paid by individuals. By of July 3, 2020, hotels and motels in the area have quarantined 534 cases (186 people completed the quarantine for 14 days and returned to the workplace).
