Performing arts to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 1950 Historic Autumn Winter Border Victory

(LSO) – On the evening of October 5, 2020, at Quoc Khanh commune, Trang Dinh district, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated to organize the arts performance and exchange program to celebrate 70th anniversary of the 1950 Autumn-Winter Border Victory.

Attending the program were leaders of some provincial departments, committees, agencies and unions; Trang Dinh district leaders and numerous cadres, soldiers and people in the area.

The arts exchange program with the theme “the 1950 Autumn Winter Border Victory – the Party’s strategic vision and historical lessons”.

70 years ago, under the leadership of the Party, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, the army and people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son province were united, brave, resilient, indomitable, together with the whole country to launch the 1950 Autumn Winter Campaign and won a great victory.

This was the first large-scale campaign in the war against the French colonialists, destroying part of the enemy’s force, clearing the border belt, expanding and consolidating the Viet Bac resistance war base.

The performing arts program included 12 dance and singing performances, praising the Fatherland, the Glorious Party, the Beloved Uncle Ho, the love for the homeland, the country performed by the singers and actors of the Provincial Culture and Arts Center and the Provincial Border Guard.

The leader of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Trang Dinh district gave gifts to policy beneficiary families and students with difficult circumstances.

The program received enthusiastic cheers from the great mass of the people, leaving a good impression on the party committee, authorities, the army and the people in Quoc Khanh commune in particular and Trang Dinh district in general.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to the officers and soldiers of Po Ma Border Guard Post, policy beneficiary families and students with difficult circumstances knowing how to rise to gain good academic achievements.
