The leader of Provincial People’s Committee received and worked with the delegation of Ambassadors of Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan

(LSO) – On November 7, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee with the leaders of some provincial departments, commissions and sectors had a courtesy meeting and worked with the delegation of Ambassadors of Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan .

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee expressed his pleasure to welcome the ambassadors of countries and their spouse to visit and work in the province.

He introduced some highlights of the socio-economic development of Lang Son in recent years.

He expected that this visit would open opportunities for cooperation between the province and businesses and localities of these countries; he also wanted to invite investors from 3 countries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan to visit, survey, invest and do business in the province; to cooperate in exporting some key agricultural and forestry products of the province such as anise and cinnamon oil, turpentine, black jelly, tea … to these countries.

Speaking at the meeting, the Ambassadors expressed their gratitude towards the leader of the Provincial People’s Committee for a warm, friendly reception and considered this an opportunity to learn about nature, history and culture of Lang Son.

The Ambassadors hoped that the cooperative relationship with Lang Son would not only be the import and export but also the joint venture to produce good quality products; at the same time, they sent an invitation to Lang Son businesses to join the supply chain of the economic alliance of four countries including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Russia; proposing to establish a 4-way cooperation relationship between Lang Son province and 3 cities of 3 countries.

Agreeing with the Ambassadors’ proposals, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee assigned the provincial authorities to coordinate with the Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association to prepare for the local-level cooperation between Lang Son and the localities of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia in the near future.
