Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an expressway intersection to Huu Lung industrial park

On July 13, the Management Board of Construction and Maintenance of Traffic Infrastructure under the Lang Son Department of Transport held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a highway intersection to Huu Lung Industrial Park, Huu Lung District.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of Lang Son Department of Transport, District Party Committee, Huu Lung District People’s Committee.

The project of expressway intersection into Huu Lung Industrial Park has the scale of building new branch roads from branch N4 to N10, on the basis of making use of the overpass of Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway at provincial road No.242 , branches N1, N2 and extending branch N3 on provincial road No.242 in Ho Son commune, Huu Lung district.

The branch routes have a design speed of 40 to 50 km/h, the acceleration and deceleration sections are arranged at positions separating lanes with parallel expressways. In addition, the Department build an additional toll station connected to the external road of Huu Lung industrial park. The infrastructure system to support and ensure traffic safety such as road signs, underground sewers for people’s living, lighting, trees, landscape, and drainage are systematically invested.

The project has a total investment of 193 billion VND, the implementation period is from 2022 to 2025, using capital from the central budget and the local budget. The winning unit for construction and installation is a joint venture between Thinh Vuong TVT Joint Stock Company and Song Quang Rural Development Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.

Currently, the work of compensation for site clearance is being carried out by the People’s Committee of Huu Lung district in order to recover land according to current regulations with a total land area of about 32 hectares.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized: This is a key project of the Provincial People’s Committee to attract investment, build an industrial park to create a driving force for socio-economic development of the province. Therefore, the project has been approved by the Provincial People’s Council for investment policy in Resolution No. 47/NQ-HDND dated November 25, 2021 and approved by the Provincial People’s Committee for the construction investment feasibility study report in Decision No. 560/QD-UBND dated 30/3/2022.

In order for the construction of the project to ensure quality, progress and efficiency, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee suggested that after the groundbreaking ceremony, the investor urgently directed the contractors to execute the construction of the items in accordance with the approved design; coordinated with the investor of the Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway project, the People’s Committee of Huu Lung district to solve problems arising during the project implementation. Huu Lung District People’s Committee focused on mobilizing people to support the project and carry out site clearance in accordance with the law. During the implementation process, it is necessary to ensure traffic safety, security and order, environmental sanitation, and labor safety within the scope of the project.

Within the framework of the program, the Management Board for Investment in Construction and Maintenance of Traffic Works awarded Ho Son Commune 50 million VND to support the construction of a new rural area.
