Lang Son prepares for investment promotion conference

(LSO) – Vice Chairman of the Lang Son provincial People’s Committee Duong Xuan Huyen and members of the organising board of the Lang Son investment promotion conference in 2019 on September 25 inspected decoration work in preparation of the conference.

To prepare for the investment promotion conference, provincial the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism designed bilingual posters of Vietnamese – English and Vietnamese – Chinese, and communications equipment along the main streets of Lang Son city, and National Highway 1A from Ben Luong bridge to the Huu Nghi international border gate.

The provincial People’s Committee has carried out the urban embellishment and environmental sanitation work, and deployed plans to ensure security and order, preparing conditions for organizing art performance programmes to celebrate the success of the conference.

After conducting field inspections on the main streets, National Highway 1A, and the  Huu Nghi international border gate area, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Duong Xuan Huyen asked relevant departments and sectors  to step up the communication work, and pay attention to the decoration with banners and posters along streets and national highways near the city’s gateway, accelerate the unfinished parts of works, build a clear programme for the art performance with specific themes, and re-adjust the flagging and decoration in the Huu Nghi international border gate area.

He stressed the need to ensure environmental sanitation and security order, especially at tourism sites and in the conference area.
