Bac Giang – Lang Son highway ready for technical opening

(LSO) – The first phase of the Bac Giang – Lang Son highway, which is 64 kilometres in length, has met all the technical standards to be technically open on September 29, the project investor reported to Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Ngoc Thuong.

Thuong was inspecting the preparation work for the road opening on September 25.

The People’s Committee of Chi Lang district is joining hands with the BOT Bac Giang-Lang Son Joint Stock Company to prepare for the opening ceremony, which will take place at Km45 of the road in Sao Mai commune, Chi Lang district.

Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Ngoc Thuong orders the contractor to complete remaining work to prepare for the opening ceremony.

Thuong asked the Bac Giang-Lang Son BOT firm to complete the remaining work like lane markings, building of the median strip, and installation of traffic safety equipment.

He said the ceremony should highlight the highway’s quality and significance to the local socio-economy.

Representatives from the event organisers report to Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Ngoc Thuong on the decoration plan.

As for Chi Lang district, he ordered it to carry out inspection on land lots along the highway which impact the environment and the highway’s landscape. Suitable measures should be taken against any violation.

He also asked the local police to implement comprehensive measures so as to ensure safety and social order during the ceremony./.
