Exciting creative youth movement

Creative youth is one of the key movements of the Youth Union, over the past time, a large number of youth union members has participated in this movement. Thereby, it promotes creativity, courage to think and to do of the young people in the province.

Implementing the Creative Youth movement, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union has launched the campaign “One union member and child, one creative idea”. With the aim of creating an environment for young people to be creative, youth unions at all levels have extensively implemented many activities such as youth and children’s creative contest; technical creativity; volunteer ideas; startup creation among rural youth; model of young creative space… Additionally, the youth unions at all levels also encourage youth and students to realize ideas and initiatives.

Participating in the movement, youth union members and children of the province have many good ideas and creative ways in work, production and business. While in 2018, the whole province had just over 3,600 ideas proposed by youth union members, in 2019, the number of ideas was nearly double (over 6,800 ideas), in 2021 it was more than 8,200 creative ideas. The contents focus on technical improvement, application of science and technology, improving productivity and value for products.

Particularly, youth union members at schools proposed ideas which contribute to innovating methods, improving the quality of teaching and learning, encouraging children to be creative in learning, to actively participate in scientific research; Youth union members of agencies and businesses actively participated in administrative reform; In production and daily life, many useful solutions have been proposed by youth union members which brought positive effects. Specifically, the model of break time with creative experience, young creative space, young computer club, coffee start-up model, youth cooperative group, young people developing tourism…

The contest “Start-up projects of rural youth in 2021” stood out in youth creative movement, which attracted 63 startup ideas. In which, many ideas are applied in practice, solving problems in life and production such as start-up ideas from the model of growing strawberries and grapes combined with ecotourism; food seasoning; custard apple straw liquor; Chi Lang chili sauce; Anise extract prolonging the preservation time of mandarin…

Young people of Northeast Agriculture and Forestry Vocational College create handicraft products, smart toys from waste wood

Mr. Duong Huu Dien, Chieu Vu commune, Bac Son district said: “Responding to the creative youth movement, I have researched and successfully processed Clausena indica sauce for marinating dishes and dried pork with Clausena indica from locally available ingredients. Based on the idea, I have invested in building production and processing facilities in the direction of commodity. Currently, the production facility creates regular jobs for 4-5 workers and brings about 500 million VND/month in revenue.”

From 2017 to now, youth union members of the whole province have proposed more than 30,500 ideas on the information page of the Central Youth Union; proposed 37 projects participating in the program “Young knowledge for education” launched by the Central Youth Union; participated in the contest “Initiative for the community” with 15 projects; completed the project “Development of a digitized Vietnamese knowledge system”; supported to solve administrative procedures for 4,240 people… organized the contest of start-up project of rural youth with more than 100 ideas and projects.

From the ideas proposed by the youth in the province, there have been thousands of ideas that have been applied to real life, study, labor and production. Thereby, this fact has actively contributed to encourage creativity, courage to think and to do among youth union members. When realized, young people’s ideas and creativity will contribute to solving problems in life and society, improving productivity, product quality and improving work efficiency.
