More than 300 youth members participated in the Youth Entrepreneurship Festival

On November 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized the 2022 Youth Entrepreneurship Festival. The festival attracted more than 300 youth union members from districts, unions and affiliated unions to participate.

The festival took place the following activities: the final round of the rural youth creative startup project contest in 2022; training to equip production techniques, management skills, value chain management, capacity to search and expand consumption markets; fostering capacity building in corporate governance and transferring arguments for young people to start a business; Youth start-up seminar with the theme “Start-up 4.0 – Job opportunities at hand”. Here, the youth union members also shared information related to entrepreneurship by experts, and exchanged with typical young entrepreneurs; visited the area displaying startup products of young people in districts and city.

At the festival, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to 13 typical young entrepreneurs in the province in 2022; awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, 3 consolation prizes to authors with projects participating in the Rural Youth Creative Startup Project Contest in 2022. The Farmstay Ecotourism Model project of the author Lam Hong Giang, Binh Gia district won the first prize at the contest.

Currently, the whole province is maintaining more than 190 clubs, youth cooperation groups for economic development, youth start-up clubs; unions at all levels have registered to help more than 750 young people start up businesses and develop their economy.

 The 2022 Youth Entrepreneurship Festival is an activity to create conditions for young people in the province to exchange, learn experience, start-up skills, establish a business, and participate in economic development.
