13 projects won prizes at the Innovation Startup Contest in Lang Son province in 2022

On November 24, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to review the support of the innovative startup ecosystem and award the 2022 Innovation Startup Contest.

In 2022, agencies and units in the province have organized many activities and events to promote the innovation startup ecosystem. Specifically, the Department of Science and Technology organized a delegation to participate in the 2022 Vietnam Innovation and Startup Contest in Lai Chau province; market connection for 5 local agricultural products. The Department of Education and Training, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Women’s Union, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, People’s Committees of districts and city organized activities such as innovation startup contest; start-up day; savings day to join hands for the poor and support youth start-up capital; Vocational training and career counseling, career promoting… Thereby, units contributed to spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship, creating favorable conditions for authors and groups of authors to start a business.

The 2022 Lang Son Innovation Startup Contest organized by the Department of Science and Technology advising the Provincial People’s Committee has attracted 42 participating ideas and projects. Based on the work results of the Jury, the Organizing Committee has selected 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 5 Consolation prizes, and 5 thematic prizes based on the following criteria: creativity, social value, growth ability and sustainable development. Mrs. Vuong Thi Thuong’s project of hanging persimmons and dried persimmons, Toan Thuong agricultural product store, zone 5, Na Sam town, Van Lang district won the first prize at this year’s contest.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Innovation Startup Contest presented prizes to the winning authors and groups of authors. On this occasion, 2 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People’s Committee; 10 collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Department of Science and Technology for making many contributions to promoting the provincial innovation startup ecosystem.
