Organisers of symposium marking leader’s birth anniversary gather for meeting

(LSO) – The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Party Committee of the northern province of Lang Son on October 14 held a meeting for the organising board of a symposium which marks the 110th birth anniversary of Hoang Van Thu (November 4) to examine preparations for the event.

The meeting was attended by leaders of the academy and relevant agencies, along with those of the Lang Son provincial Party Committee’s board for Information and Education, the Hoang Van Thu Politics School and the Party Committee’s office.

The symposium will be entitled “Hoang Van Thu – Outstanding senior leader of the Party and eminent citizen of Lang Son”. At the meeting, the organising board updated the tasks they had fulfilled such as invitation for report submission, drafting of the invitation letter and seating arrangement, and the list of delegates.

At present, the organisers are reviewing reports, and draft versions of opening and closing speeches.

At the meeting, members of the organising board agreed on the next tasks, including anticipation of the chair, the secretariat, and documents for delegates, list of key speakers, preparation for the event’s summary record, facilities, and communication for the symposium, and more.

Concluding the meeting, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics assigned duties to members of the organising board and set deadline and progress to meet the requirements.
