Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has a dialogue with young people: There should be an investment fund specifically for young start-ups

On the afternoon of March 23, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and the youth. Attending the conference were leaders of departments, agencies and sectors of the province. The conference is connected to 11 district-level connection points and 200 commune-level connection points across the province.

At the conference, representatives of departments and sectors informed young people about labor, employment, employment support mechanisms and policies, starting a business for young people, solutions and orientations to promote development. commodity production areas.

With the theme “Lang Son youth start a business, establish a business associated with building a new countryside”, at the conference, leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, departments and sectors had a dialogue with youth union members, youth and youth union officials in the province about 3 main groups of issues including: solutions and capital support mechanisms for young people to start a business, set up a business and develop the economy; vocational training, career guidance, job placement; solutions to develop concentrated commodity production areas in association with production and consumption chains, build brands in the agricultural sector along with OCOP product models (one commune one product program), new rural building. The opinions, recommendations and suggestions of young people are exchanged, answered and clarified.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee noted and highly appreciated the opinions, recommendations and suggestions of the youth.

He suggested: Youth union members in the province need to actively study and improve their knowledge about starting a business, setting up a business, determining the direction of starting a business, setting up a business that is suitable to their abilities and feasible. For the work of building new rural areas, union members and youth in the province need to be well aware of their roles and responsibilities, advise the Party committees and authorities at all levels to do a good job of propagandizing on new rural area building; focus on developing effective economic models; actively participate in the process of building rural infrastructure in association with the movement of making roads to national landmarks; promote digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas.

He also suggested that the Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to focusing on the development of young human resources, the focus is on improving the quality of human resources in agriculture and rural areas, meeting the requirements of the cause of innovation, integration and development.

He emphasized that Lang Son province needs a fund specifically for young start-ups and assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with relevant agencies to organize the implementation.
