Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee received and worked with Gia Dinh Group Joint Stock Company

On April 10, the delegation of Gia Dinh Group Joint Stock Company came to study and learn about investment cooperation in the province. Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired the meeting and worked with the delegation.

After that, leaders of Gia Dinh Group Joint Stock Company, SEP Group gave an overview of the carbon neutral industrial cluster. Accordingly, in order to realize the government’s COP26 program, implement tasks and solutions to control greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection in 2020 and guiding documents, contribute to the successful implementation of the goal of net zero emissions reduction by 2050, Gia Dinh Group Joint Stock Company and SEP Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop smart, green and carbon-neutral industrial clusters.

Through research, Gia Dinh Group Joint Stock Company wishes the Provincial People’s Committee, related departments and agencies to create favorable conditions for the company to develop the project to build Ho Son 1 industrial cluster, Huu Lung district into a smart, green, carbon-neutral industrial cluster. Through the meeting, SEP Group has the courtesy to research and sponsor 10,000 carbon-neutral, outdoor LED lights for the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee hoped that the meeting will bring to the Group the most complete and clear information about the potential and opportunities to access key projects that are prioritizing investment attraction; administrative mechanisms, policies and procedures in the implementation of investment projects.

Mr. Chairman of the People’s Committee requested the departments, sectors and the People’s Committee of Huu Lung district to continue to closely coordinate with related parties to implement the work proposed by the company with an urgent and positive progress.

In the program, leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Planning and Investment signed a memorandum of understanding on the proposed implementation of projects in the province; Memorandum of Understanding on international cooperation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with leaders of Gia Dinh Group Joint Stock Company, SEP Group and representatives of Korea University of Technology.
