Connecting trade between businesses and cooperatives in Lang Son and An Giang province

On June 12, in Lang Son city, the Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of An Giang province held a conference to connect trade between Tu Son supermarket, Chau Doc city, An Giang province and businesses and cooperatives in Lang Son province.

 Currently, Lang Son province has 94 OCOP products (One Commune One Product). All products meet food hygiene and safety standards, many products apply advanced production processes such as VietGAP, GlobalGAP.

In order to promote the consumption of products of the province, over the past time, the Department of Industry and Trade has strengthened trade promotion work, supported businesses to promote and introduce products, and expand consumption markets.

At the conference, the delegates exchanged and discussed such contents as: enhancing trade promotion on digital platforms; strengthening support for businesses and cooperatives to participate in fairs and exhibitions; focusing on organizing and supporting businesses and cooperatives to bring products into the system of supermarkets and trade centers of each side; promoting propaganda and promotion of key agricultural products and OCOP products on the mass media….

 Also at the conference, some products of businesses and cooperatives in Lang Son province such as black jelly; anise essential oil; cinnamon sli cake; lettuce tea… were selected by Tu Son supermarket, considering the appropriate receiving conditions to put on display, sell and promote in the supermarket.

The trade connection conference opened up opportunities to promote products and expand consumption markets for businesses and cooperatives in the province. Thereby, it contributed to bringing local key products and OCOP products closer to consumers inside and outside the province.
