Signing the cooperation program between the youth union and veterans association for the period of 2023 – 2028

On the afternoon of August 2, the Central Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Veterans Association held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program for the period 2023-2028 on “Strengthening the training of revolutionary ideals, accompanying young people in starting a business, setting up a business, taking charge of the construction and defense of the Fatherland”

Attending and chairing the signing ceremony at the central connection point were Mr. Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Chairman of Vietnam Veterans Association. At Lang Son connection point, there were leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, leaders of the Provincial Veterans Association.

Accordingly, the leaders of the two units signed the cooperation contents: coordinate to direct the implementation of promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style among veterans, youth union members, youth;  strengthen the training  of revolutionary ideals, political and ideological education, patriotic traditions and a sense of revolutionary vigilance for union members and youth; coordinate to take care of material and spiritual life, promptly grasp information, contribute to stabilizing the situation of grassroots youth and coordinate in organization building, contribute ideas to participate in Party building, monitoring social criticism.

Leaders of Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Veterans Association signed a cooperation program between the two units 

At the signing ceremony, the delegates discussed, contributed ideas and shared experiences to well implement the signed contents. At the same time, at 63 connection points, provinces and centrally-run cities also simultaneously signed a cooperation program between provinces, city unions and veterans’ associations in the period of 2023-2028.

Through the coordination program to continue to raise the awareness and responsibility of officials, union members and members about coordination work, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks; build strong unions and associations.
