Lang Son wins 3 awards for promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the topic “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style”

On the evening of September 9, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission held an Awards Ceremony for composing and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the topic “Studying and following ideology, morality, Ho Chi Minh style” period 2021-2023.

Attending the ceremony were Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai; Politburo Member, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of commissions, ministries, branches and central agencies; authors and groups of authors awarded.

Implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on strengthening to learn and follow  President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style; Plan No. 58-KH/BTGTW, dated August 27, 2021 of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission on implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the 13rd Politburo, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission organized an Award for creating and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the topic “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style” in the period 2021-2025 with 2 rounds of awarding, the first one was from 2021 to May 2023, the second one will be from May 2023 to May 2025.

The first phase of the award (2021 – 2023) was during the development of pandemic which creative and promotional activities. But in 2022 and early 2023, localities, agencies, units, press agencies, and literary and artistic associations from central to local levels have focused on directing, providing information, guiding, and creating conditions for creative and promotional activities to be implemented in accordance with the plan of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and the Award Regulations. Accordingly, 13 specialized preliminary councils received 1,292 works; 48 records of promotional achievements of units and individuals from localities, agencies and units.

Through a strict and thorough process of evaluating and selecting records of promotional activities, there were 238 works and projects eligible for rewards including 1 special prize, 11 A prizes, 55 B prizes, 89 C prizes, 82 encouraging prizes; 46 units and individuals with outstanding achievements in promotional activities were eligible for rewards (35 units, 11 individuals).

Speaking at the awards ceremony,  Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized: “Creating and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the topic ” “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style” are sheer necessary and deeply meaningful, contributing to the effective implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style.”

Literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the topic “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style” in the 2021-2023 period have spread gratitude to revolutionary history and the love for President Ho Chi Minh, arousing motivation to learn and follow Uncle Ho in every daily task.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission requested the Propaganda and Education Commission from the Central to local levels, Party committees at all levels and relevant agencies, artists, journalists, officials, Party members to continue promoting the results achieved, promoting the creation and promotion of journalistic, literary and artistic works on the theme “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style” in the period of 2023 – 2025, thereby continuing to promote patriotism, strength and cultural values of Vietnamese people, developing Vietnam into a more prosperous and happier country  as Uncle Ho’s wish.

At the awards ceremony, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission launched the creation and promotion of literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style” in the period 2023-2025.

In the award ceremony, Party and State leaders presented awards to authors, groups of authors, units and individuals who won prizes in the first phase (2021-2023).

Among them, Lang Son Newspaper, Lang Son Provincial Radio and Television Station (collectively) and singer Thanh Son of Lang Son Provincial Cultural and Arts Center (individual) won awards for promoting literary, artistic and journalistic on the topic “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style” in the period 2021-2023.
