On the morning of January 10, 2024, the Provincial People’s Committee organized an online conference at 3 levels (province, district, commune) to deploy main goals, tasks and solutions to direct and administer the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates for  the year 2024.

According to the report of the Provincial People’s Committee, in 2023, with the determination and efforts of the entire political system, the province has achieved a number of important results. Accordingly, 15/18 main socio-economic targets were achieved and exceeded, including 9 targets exceeded; The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached 7.0% (ranked 5th in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region, ranked 30th in 63 provinces and cities nationwide); Total import-export turnover of goods declared at Lang Son Customs Department reached over 5 billion USD, an increase of 73.3% compared to 2022; 762 new businesses were established, an increase of 56% compared to 2022; in 2023, Lang Son VSIP Industrial Park has been decided by the Prime Minister on investment policy with a total investment capital of over 6,300 billion VND and the province has also established 4 new industrial clusters (increasing the number of industrial clusters in the province to 7); cultural and social fields are implemented synchronously, promptly and effectively; Social security work is paid attention and implemented well, people’s lives continue to improve;…
