The leader of Military Command of Region 1 visiting, presenting gifts and extending new year greetings in Lang Son

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024, on the afternoon of January 24, a delegation of the Military Command of Region 1 led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 1, visited, presented gifts, extended new year greetings in Lang Son.

Within the agenda, the delegation visited, gave gifts and extended new year greeting to Provincial Public Security Department, Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Veterans Association and the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange. At the destinations, the leaders of the units reported on the outstanding work results achieved in implementing the 2023 tasks,  preparation for officers and soldiers to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet; combat readiness before, during and after Tet.

On behalf of the Party Committee and Military Command of Region 1, the Commander of Military Region 1 highly appreciated the coordination of the province’s armed forces in carrying out national defense and security tasks, political security, social order and safety in the area, serving socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense and security potential.

He requested that the provincial armed forces continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, to uphold the sense of responsibility, to proactively coordinate and grasp the situation, especially before, during and after Tet, to ensure social order and safetyso that people can feel secure and enjoy spring and celebrate Tet safely.
