Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visits and gives Tet gifts in Dinh Lap district

On the occasion of the 2024 Lunar New Year, on the afternoon of January 25, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited and gave Tet gifts to officers and soldiers of Chi Lang Border Guard Station; policy families, poor households, prestigious people in Binh Xa commune, Dinh Lap district.

At Chi Lang Border Guard Station, the delegation heard a report on the unit’s operations. Accordingly, Chi Lang Border Guard Station is responsible for managing and protecting more than 20 km of national border and is in charge of Binh Xa commune (Dinh Lap district) and Tam Gia commune (Loc Binh district). In 2023, the station has mobilized organizations and individuals to support materials and funds, mobilizing over 5,000 days of labor from officers, soldiers, forces and people in the area to build 31 checkpoint routes, nearly 5km long, with a total value of nearly 5 billion VND. At the same time, the station has done a good job of ensuring regimes and policies for officers and soldiers in the unit to enjoy spring and Tet; Coordinated with party committees, local authorities, and benefactors to donate nearly 300 Tet gifts to poor households, policy families, and disadvantaged students. At the same time, maintain strict military numbers at units, stations, and checkpoints on the border.
