Lang Son Provincial Delegation: Visiting to learn about the grassroots party organizational model and political system of Ka Feng village (Guangxi, China)

Continuing the working program in Guangxi, China, on the morning of February 26, Lang Son province delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited, and learned about the party’s grassroots organizational model and the political system of Ka Feng village, Youyi town, Pingxiang county, Guangxi, China; learned about building friendship villages/hamlets in Guangxi (China) with the opposite villages of Tan Thanh commune and Tan My commune, Van Lang district, Lang Son province (Vietnam).

Ke Feng village, Youyi town, Pingxiang county, Guangxi, China currently has 8 villages, 580 households with more than 2,000 people. The economic development activities of the people in the village are mainly trade and services.

In 2015, Na Lau village, Tan Thanh commune, Van Lang district, Lang Son province (Vietnam) and Puzhai hamlet of Kha Phong village, Youyi town, Pingxiang county, Guangxi, China organized the twinning of border friendly residential clusters and jointly signed the “Twinning Agreement of Border Villages”; in 2016, Coc Nam village, Tan My commune, Van Lang district, Lang Son province (Vietnam) also organized a twinning of border friendship residential cluster with Ke Feng village, Youyi town, Pingxiang county, Guangxi ( China).

Over the past years, the People of both sides have complied and well implemented legal documents on the management and protection of the Vietnam – China land border; jointly coordinate and promote participation in the fight against all types of crimes;… The people of the two villages also regularly exchange experiences in production development, regularly organize exchange activities, visits, and extend greetings on holidays and New Year…

Speaking at the survey trip, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of Lang Son Province (Vietnam) thanked the support and created conditions for the delegation to conduct a survey on the party’s grassroots organizational model and political system at the village level of the leaders of Chongzuo city and Ke Feng village (Guangxi, China).

The Secretary hoped that Ke Feng village (Guangxi, China) will continue to perform well together with Na Lau village, Tan Thanh commune and Coc Nam village, Tan My commune, Van Lang district, Lang Son province (Vietnam) to carry out twinning activities of border friendship clusters between the two sides.

After a survey and practical study of the grassroots party organization model and political system at the village level in Guangxi, China, Lang Son province will research and apply the advantages into practice in Lang Son province (Vietnam) to improve the operational efficiency of party organizations, socio-political organizations, forces participating in work in villages and residential groups in mountainous, border and ethnic minority areas of Lang Son province.
