Lang Son City: Meeting of the Committee organizing activities to celebrate the Party – celebrate the 2023 Spring

On the afternoon of December 29, the People’s Committee of Lang Son city held a meeting of the organizing committee to celebrate the Party and celebrate the spring; cultural activities, tourism and traditional festivals of the 2023 Lunar New Year. Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lang Son city chaired the meeting.

In order to promote the image of Lang Son city associated with tourism development and preserve unique cultural features, the City People’s Committee has developed a plan to organize cultural – tourism activities and traditional festivals for the 2023 Lunar New Year. According to the plan, the activities include: organizing 7 traditional festivals in the area; fairs to display, introduce and sell OCOP products and local featured products; street art and cultural activities; The 5th contest  “The flavor of the cuisine of Lang Son” in Lang Son city, 2023 Lunar New Year.

At the meeting, the delegates discussed focusing on a number of contents such as communication work, visual propaganda and promotion; considering the appropriate place, time and scale of organizing a number of events; ensuring reception, logistics work at each event…

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the City People’s Committee suggested: People’s Committees of wards and communes and agencies and units are interested in promoting the implementation of tasks, closely following the plan of organizing cultural  – tourism activities and traditional festival of the 2023 Lunar New Year. In particular, each unit needs to continue to develop detailed plans and estimates for the implementation of assigned tasks. Regarding the organization of spring festivals, assign wards and communes to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with businesses to implement and ensure the association with traditional elements. Events organized on this occasion must ensure solemnity, thrift, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, traffic safety and order and security in the locality.
