Lang Son has 2 winning works at the 12th International Art Photo Contest in Vietnam

The 12th International Art Photo Contest in Vietnam in 2023 was launched from September 12, 2022 to January 10, 2023, organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) with the auspices of the International Federation of Fine Art Photography (FIAP); Image Without Borders (ISF).

The contest attracted 1,074 authors from 32 countries. In which, Lang Son has 2 works by 2 award-winning authors and 3 works are displayed at the national exhibition for Vietnamese authors.

Specifically: The work “Morning Mist” by author Luu Minh Dan (Lang Son city) won second prize in the freestyle category for monochrome photos; The work “Tears of a thousand” by author Nguyen Son Tung (Lang Son city) won the consolation prize also in the free category for monochrome photos.

There are 3 works selected for the exhibition, including: “Under the yin and yang tile roof” belongs to the genre of free color photographs by author Luu Minh Dan; works “Sorrow” and “Shinning moment” in the category of concept photos by author Chu Van Minh (Lang Son city).

The contest awarding ceremony is expected to be held on the afternoon of March 13, 2023 at the Temple of Literature, Hanoi.

The contest is an opportunity to introduce the beauty of the homeland, the country and the people of Vietnam in general and Lang Son in particular to the international community.
