Lang Son city covered with flags and flowers to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024

With just a few days left until the 2024 Lunar New Year, the bustling atmosphere to welcome Tet has spread throughout the streets of Lang Son city.

Implement plan No. 203 dated October 20, 2024 of Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee on organizing Xu Lang Peach Blossom Festival and activities to celebrate the Party, the Lunar New Year 2024 and celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Communist Party Vietnamese (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2024) and welcoming the Year of the Dragon in 2024, the City Culture and Sports Center coordinated with the City People’s Committee to direct specialized divisions, boards and People’s Committees of wards, communes, related agencies and units to carry out urban decoration for a joyful, solemn, clean and beautiful space to celebrate the Party and welcome spring.

The October 17 flower garden, the Provincial People’s Committee headquarters, the memorial campus of President Ho Chi Minh, the monument of comrade Hoang Van Thu, the space of Ky Lua walking street and some central points of the city are decorated with flags, flowers, banners, slogans and large posters with the content of celebrating Lunar New Year, celebrating the 94th anniversary of the Party.

Cleaning, garbage collection and maintaining street hygiene during the day have been enhanced to create a clean and beautiful space, contributing to the joyful atmosphere of spring.

City decoration activities have contributed to creating an exciting atmosphere to welcome Tet and also contributing to propaganda among all walks of life, especially the young generation to be proud of the national tradition of building and defending the country. It also helps raise the sense of responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the good customs and practices of the nation.
