The Seminar celebrated Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day

(LSO) – On October 8, the Tax Department in coordination with the Provincial Business Association held the seminar to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).

Attending the seminar were leaders, specialized divisions of the Tax Department, tax sub-departments of districts and the city; leaders of the Provincial Business Association and representatives of some typical businesses.

Speaking at the seminar, the leader of the Tax Department emphasized that over the past years, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, businesses in the province have constantly made efforts to overcome them. Thereby, it has made a positive contribution to the results of the general budget revenue in the province. Enterprises’ tax remitted to the state budget has gradually increased over the years. Specifically, in 2017 it was 513 billion VND, in 2018 it was 618 billion VND, in 2019 it was 685 billion VND. In 2020, in spite of facing many difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, in the first nine months of the year, enterprises in the province have paid tax of 486 billion VND.

Besides the task of budget collection, Lang Son Tax Sector always strives to reform tax administration, ensure publicity, transparency and timely provide new tax policies; successfully establish an information channel system to support taxpayers; promote business support in fulfilling the obligation to pay the budget and so on.

At the seminar, the leader of the Provincial Business Association praised and acknowledged the efforts of the tax authorities over the years. At the same time, the business community wants the tax authorities to continue to reform tax administration, create favorable conditions to support businesses, thereby facilitating businesses to well fulfill their obligation to pay the state budget.
