Specifically, domestic revenue is estimated at 129.5 trillion VND, an increase of about 9 trillion VND from the previous month because some revenues in the first quarter were declared and paid to the state budget at the beginning of the second quarter.

Revenue from crude oil reached an estimated 6.6 trillion VND, down about 1.3 trillion VND from the previous month. Vietnam’s average oil price this month was about 122.7 USD per barrel, up 62.7 USD per barrel compared to the estimated price; oil production was estimated at 0.7 million tons.

In addition, the budget balance collection from import and export activities was estimated at 24.1 trillion VND, down about 4.4 trillion VND from the previous month.

In the first 4 months of the year, state budget revenue totaled 645.3 trillion VND, 45.7% of the estimate, up 13.3% year on year. Of this, central budget was estimated at 46.4 % of the estimate while local budget was estimated at 45% of the estimate.

For state budget expenditure, total balanced expenditure in April is estimated at 132.8 trillion VND; bringing the figure for the first 4 months of the year to 470.2 trillion VND, 26.3% of the estimate, up 2.4% year on year./.
