Lang Son City: Meeting businesses on the occasion of the city’s 20th anniversary

On the afternoon of October 10, the Lang Son City Party Committee and People’s Committee organized a meeting between the city’s leaders and representatives of a number of businesses in the area to prepare for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Lang Son city  and receive the Third Class Labor Medal.

Attending the program were leaders of the City Party Committee, People’s Committee of Lang Son city, leaders of the Provincial Business Association and representatives of nearly 60 businesses operating in Lang Son city.

At the program, leaders of Lang Son city gave quick information on the socio-economic performance of Lang Son city. Accordingly, in recent years, the economy of Lang Son city has made strong progress, the growth rate of production value of a number of major economic sectors has averaged 10% annually.

In 9 months of 2022, despite facing many difficulties, the city’s economic situation continues to develop stably; budget collection activities were directed drastically and achieved high results.

The ground clearance of key projects in the area has seen positive changes, the planning management, construction permits are ensured, the urban infrastructure is invested and upgraded synchronously. The socio-cultural fields are well implemented, the material and spiritual life of the people in the city continues to be improved. The work of building the Party, building the political system, and the great national unity bloc have been consolidated…

At the meeting, leaders of the City People’s Committee briefly informed about the preparations to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of Lang Son city and receive the Third Class Labor Medal. Accordingly, the preparations have been basically completed, according to the plan, the ceremony will be held on October 15, 2022.

Speaking at the meeting, the leader of the City Party Committee stated: Lang Son city is looking to the future with a strong desire for development. Along  with the determination to well implement breakthroughs and key tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution of the 23rd Party Congress of the city, term 2020 – 2025, The city also strives to “Building and developing Lang Son city into a green, clean, smart, modern city, imbued with national cultural identity” and “Building Lang Son city with the goal of becoming one of the growth poles, an important nucleus in the economic development of the Northern midland and mountainous region”.

To achieve those goals, Lang Son city has been actively building and implementing many synchronous solutions, concentrating all resources for socio-economic development, continuing to remove difficulties for production and  supporting entrepreneurs – businesses, investors to develop sustainably; reforming administrative procedures, creating an open and equal business investment environment for all businesses of all economic sectors to compete fairly and develop…

Towards the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Lang Son city and receiving the Third-class Labor Medal, leaders of the City Party Committee and People’s Committee of Lang Son city wish the business community will continue to contribute to the development of Lang Son city.
