Meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam – China Trade Fair (Lang Son in 2022): Actively preparare for the organization of the fair

On the morning of October 21, 2022, Mrs. Doan Thu Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam – China Fair chaired the meeting to review the preparation for the fair.

According to the report at the meeting, regarding the invitation of businesses, up to now, the Department of Industry and Trade has invited 181 units and businesses, of which 159 units and businesses have registered to participate with 249 booths.

In addition, the advertisement about the fair has also been posted on media channels, relevant agencies are also hanging banners and flags, promoting mobile advertisement…

The installation of booths, the work of ensuring security and order, hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, the reception of delegates, etc. have also been implemented by the sub-committees according to the plan.

At the meeting, the members of the Organizing Committee reported the progress of some works in preparation for the organization of the fair. At the same time, they also proposed a number of options to improve the efficiency of activities at the fair such as the display of standard booths, general booths; advertisement, promotion and invitation; security, order and health…

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the preparation of relevant departments, sectors and units in the preparation for the fair.

She requested units to continue to promote advertisement of the Vietnam – China trade fair (Lang Son in 2022); to invite businesses participating in the fair, focusing on inviting Chinese businesses, to pay attention to the types of goods displayed at the fair for a proactive arrangement of booths; to focus on the construction and installation of booths to soon hand over the to businesses participating in the fair.

The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee asked departments and sectors to cooperate closely in the preparation for the fair. The sub-committees should well perform the assigned tasks, completed them before October 31.

The Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son 2022) is organized by the People’s Committee of Lang Son province in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the theme “Friendship – Cooperation – Association – Development”. This is an export-oriented trade promotion activity within the framework of the national trade promotion program and provincial trade promotion program of Lang Son in 2022; it is also to celebrate the 191th anniversary of Lang Son province, the 113th birthday of Comrade Hoang Van Thu as well as a program in the plan to organize a rotating fair between Lang Son (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China).
