Closing ceremony of Vietnam – China International Trade Fair

On the afternoon of November 8, at Lang Son Trade Fair Center, Lang Son city, the Provincial People’s Committee held the closing ceremony of Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son, 2022).

Attending the closing ceremony were Mrs. Doan Thu Ha, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee; leaders of departments, boards and sectors, leaders of districts and Lang Son city; representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade of the provinces and cities participating in the fair; representatives of businesses participating in the fair.

Vietnam – China International Trade Fair has 256 booths of 54 businesses from Vietnamese provinces and cities, 24 ones from Lang Son province and 14 from China. Products sold in the fair are diverse in many fields such as agricultural products, household appliances, garments, shoes, seafood, agarwood, confectionery, fruits, spices, leather products, machinery for industry, products for metallurgy, ceramics,… Especially, at the fair, nearly 300 OCOP products (One Commune One Product) of localities and Lang Son province were displayed and introduced.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the leader of Lang Son Department of Industry and Trade affirmed: “After more than a week with exciting and meaningful activities, the Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son 2022) was a success. It has completed the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People’s Committee of Lang Son province according to the National Trade Promotion Program and Lang Son Provincial Trade Promotion Program in 2022.”

Vietnam – China International Trade Fair is a place for businesses to meet, exchange, promote and introduce goods and services; to form joint ventures, connect investment cooperation, expand markets. At the end of the fair, there were 20 contracts signed between businesses on product consumption and many cooperation agreements to promote the export of products of Lang Son province in particular, products of localities throughout the country in general.

Within the closing ceremony, a signing ceremony on cooperation between 20 businesses took place. Additionally, Department of Industry and Trade presented certificates of merit to 14 units and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the fair.
