Lang Son: 826 trucks carrying import and export goods through border gates during the 7 day of Lunar New Year holiday

According to the report of the Management Board of Dong Dang – Lang Son Economic Zone, from February 8 to February 14, there were 826 vehicles carrying imported and exported goods through the province’s border gates,  including 585 vehicles carrying export goods and 241 vehicles carrying imported goods. In particular, during the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday, over 12.8 thousand tons of Vietnamese agricultural products and fruits were exported through the province’s border gates.

During the Lunar New Year holidays, functional forces at border gates arranged officers on duty to facilitate customs clearance of goods. It is known that some localities are now starting to harvest some specialty fruits such as dragon fruit, mango, durian, jackfruit, watermelon… Therefore, starting from February 14, 2024 until now, the number of vehicles transporting exported fruits to border gates of Lang Son province has begun to increase sharply. Accordingly, forces at border gates, especially at Huu Nghi International Border Gate, Tan Thanh Border Gate, and Chi Ma Border Gate, proactively organize overtime and increase working hours to speed up customs clearance of fruit trucks.
