The leader of Provincial Party Committee works with Provincial Business Association: It is necessary to promote digital transformation in the business community.

Participating in the delegation were the leaders of the Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, relevant departments and sectors.

Provincial Business Association was established in 2012 with 200 members, by the end of July 2022 the association has nearly 600 members.

In the first 6 months of 2022, the association has performed well in supporting and advising its members in production and business activities; coordinating in organizing training courses on new legal knowledge on social insurance and human resource management for representatives of 120 businesses. Additionally, the association also actively participates in the social criticism in the province’s mechanisms and policies; member businesses have actively contributed to social welfare with an amount of over 2 billion dong.

At the meeting, the association proposed to the delegation the contents including removing obstacles in terms of land access and site clearance for projects; the problem of accessing bank credit capital; administrative reform promotion; implementing policies to support business; resolving the business’s recommendations faster and with better quality; overcoming the overlapping inspection and examination; accelerating investment in completing Chi Lang-Huu Nghi-Tan Thanh expressway and other key transport infrastructure projects.

Regarding the recommendations of the Provincial Business Association, the leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, relevant departments and agencies have informed and clarified some opinions. At the same time, the leader of the Provincial People’s Committee directed the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee to collect comments so that the Provincial People’s Committee could assign departments and branches to settle according to their competence.

Concluding the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the role of business in the socio-economic development of the province, especially its contribution to the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic and its support to overcome natural disasters and diseases in recent times.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested: “The Provincial Business Association should continue to perform well in connecting and supporting member businesses in production and business; promote digital transformation in businesses to improve production and business efficiency, increase the contribution proportion of the digital economy in the economic structure of the province.

In addition, the business community were asked to actively propose plans to the province on private economic development, strengthen joint ventures, mobilize resources to implement projects on technical and economic infrastructure development, creating many jobs for workers to improve their living standards. The association actively should participate in contributing ideas and intelligence of businesses to the development of the provincial plan, expanding the administrative boundaries of Lang Son city, developing training programs and training plans to improve business management capacity

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested agencies, commissions and branches of the province to continue to support business in production and business development, to focus on solving difficulties and obstacles for businesses, especially in processing administrative procedures with transparency. They also needed to effectively implementing the provincial directions on business development, especially building leading business in some fields so that the province’s businesses could carry out large projects to create spillover effects for the economy.
