The Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters in Van Quan district

On the morning of November 23, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation including Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Delegation of the 15th National Assembly of the province; Mr. Pham Trong Nghia, member of the National Assembly’s Social Committee; Mr. Luu Ba Mac, Member of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Division of Technology and Innovation Management, Department of Science and Technology met with voters after the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly in cluster of 4 communes: Tu Xuyen, Luong Nang, Huu Le and Tri Le, Van Quan district.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Delegation of the 15th National Assembly of the province spoke at the meeting with voters.

 Participating in the voter meeting were leaders of a number of departments and sectors of the province and Van Quan district.

At the meeting, the provincial National Assembly deputies informed voters about the results of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the provincial delegation at the meeting. Accordingly, with the spirit of urgent and serious work, in 21 working days, the National Assembly passed 6 laws and 13 resolutions, giving opinions on the absorption and revision of 1 law project, giving opinions on for the first time for 7 other laws; thematic supreme supervision “The implementation of policies and laws on thrift practice and waste prevention in the period of 2016 – 2021”; conduct questioning and answering questions; review reports on voter petitions; judicial work; crime prevention and combat and law violations; judgment enforcement; corruption prevention work and settlement of voters’ petitions and a number of other important contents.

Regarding activities at the meeting, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation showed a high sense of responsibility before voters and the People, participating in 31 turns of speeches and discussions in the hall, discussions in groups and questioning.

After that, voters of communes proposed to the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly on the following contents: Consider reducing the retirement age for commune-level cadres and civil servants working in region 1 of ethnic minority areas; allocate more budget to extract the red cover of forest land to avoid encroachment on land; increase the level of support for social protection beneficiaries; consider the regime to support poor households; review a number of criteria of the communes that have reached the new rural destination such as: roads, poor households, income, village cultural houses after the merger; opening a traffic route from Ban So village (Huu Le commune) to Khon Dut, Mo Can (Van Linh commune, Chi Lang district); health insurance for households still has many shortcomings; remove electric poles out of school…

After listening to the opinions of voters, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly, leaders of departments, sectors and Van Quan district have received, explained and responded to the petitions under its authority.
