Lang Son People’s Committee convenes regular October meeting

(LSO) – The People’s Committee of Lang Son held the regular monthly meeting on October 17 under the chair of Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee Pham Ngoc Thuong.

The meeting was attended by Doan Thi Hau, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council and leaders of the provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The meeting focused on the provincial People’s Committee’s draft proposals and a resolution of the People’s Council on the land price list in Lang Son in the 2020-2024 period.

Other items on the working programme were regulations on the agency in charge of receiving and processing land and land-associated asset registration procedures and the time and steps of the procedures; the issuance of certificate on land use, ownership of houses and other land-associated assets; support for small-scale and infield irrigation development as well as advanced watering system; regulations on expenditures for supervising and evaluating clean water indications and rural sanitation environment, the inspection and assessment of the set of index on water quality and environmental sanitation in rural areas; the check of water quality at households in areas with polluted water resources.

Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Ngoc Thuong addresses the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Thuong agreed with the draft land price list in the province in the 2020-2024 period, while lauding the efforts of consultation and verification units in widespread researching to create the new list with suitable adjustments.

Regarding procedures related to land and land-associated assets, he asked local departments and sectors to continue finalizing documents advising the People’s Committee on the issuing of a new decision to replace Decision 27/2014/QD-UBND dated December 15, 2014, thus promoting reform and reducing time for processing relevant administrative procedures.

As for regulations on different levels of support for the development of small irrigation and infield irrigation works as well as advanced watering systems in the locality, Thuong requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to study carefully ideas from participants, while assessing the real situation in different periods, to complete the contents of the regulations and necessary documents before submitting to the People’s Committee.

He also agreed on the regulations on the expenditure for evaluating water quality and environmental sanitation in rural areas.

Participants at the meeting adopted regulations on the contents and spending for innovation activities in the province.

The provincial leader asked the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with relevant agencies to detail the different levels of spending and adjust a number of contents based on participants’ opinions, thus finalizing necessary documents before sending to the People’s Committee for issuance./.
