Mobilizing all resources to complete the vaccination against COVID-19

On August 16, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mrs. Doan Thu Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, inspected the vaccination against COVID-19 in Van Lang and Van Quan district.

According to the report, as of August 15, in Van Lang district, the rate of 1st and 2nd injections for people aged 18 years and older has reached approximately 100%, the rate of 3rd injections has reached 86.9%. The rate of 4th injection has reached 78.37% of the total number of subjects expected to be injected. For subjects from 12 to 17 years old, the rate of 1st and 2nd injections has been approximately 100%, the rate of 3rd injections was 55, 34%; the rate of 1st injection for children from 5 to under 12 years old has reached 84.86%, the rate of 2nd injection was 48.3%.

In Van Quan district, vaccination has also been implemented drastically, as of August 15, the rate of injections of 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses for cases 18 years and older all has reached 90% or higher, the rate of injection of dose 4 has reached 100% of the total number of subjects expected to be injected. For subjects from 12 to 17 years old, the rate of 1st and 2nd injections has been over 95%, the rate of 3rd injection has been 46.8%; the rate of 1st injection for children from 5 to under 12 years old has reached 76%, the rate of 2nd injection has reached 51.9%.

Concluding the inspection, the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged d and highly appreciated the vaccination against COVID-19 in the two districts. In order to ensure that the COVID-19 vaccination was on schedule and according to the plan, the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee suggested: “Leaders of the districts should continue to thoroughly spread and strictly follow the instructions of the central and provincial governments on vaccination against COVID-19; further promote communication on the benefits and effectiveness of vaccination; continue to mobilize socio-political organizations to encourage people to participate in full vaccination.”

The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee asked the two districts to set up teams to inspect the implementation of vaccination against COVID-19 in their areas; promptly rectify the units that had not well organized the vaccination against COVID-19. At the same time, they should focus and mobilize all resources to complete the 3rd and 4th injections for those over 18 years old and the 2nd dose for children from 5 to under 12 years old in August 2022.

At the meeting, the delegation inspected the implementation of vaccination against COVID-19 in Tan My commune, Na Sam town, Hoang Viet commune (Van Lang district); Khanh Khe commune, Diem He commune, Van Quan town (Van Quan district). After the inspection, the delegation confirmed that vaccination against COVID-19 at the injection sites was strictly implemented, ensuring vaccination safety.
