The officials inspected the prevention efforts carried out at Dong Dang International Railways Station, Huu Nghi International Border Gate, and Dong Dang General Clinic at Cao Loc district.

They looked into the customs handling as well as medical check procedures for passengers coming to and leaving the locality and examined medical logistics preparation for the prevention efforts.

Vice Chairman of the Lang Son People’s Committee and and Head of the provincial Steering Committee for Anti-nCoV Duong Xuan Huyen addresses the inspection.

They found that, medical checks for passengers entering and leaving these locations have been carried out in line with required procedures and a quarantine area equipped with recommended equipment, medicines, and chemicals have been well prepared for the nCoV screening for passengers.

Lang Son has yet reported any nCov carriers. The provincial relevant agencies have, however, proactively taken measures to prevent the virus spread by speeding up communication campaigns and disinfecting schools and populous residential areas

While cancelling all festivals to be held, the province set up around 30 rapid response teams, built three scenarios for the detection of nCoV patients at the border gate, in districts and when the virus spreading in the community, and provided 14 hotlines to answer local people’s questions related to the disease.

The health deputy minister hailed the province’s nCoV prevention effort, asking the provincial steering committee for Anti-nCoV to set up teams to inspect the grassroots prevention efforts and seriously handle chemists’ houses selling face masks higher than their prices and individuals and organizations producing fake information about the disease.

Signs to instruct passengers coming to the locality to complete health declaration forms should be placed at border gates, he added.
