Visiting and giving gifts to anti-French resistance war veterans residing in Lang Son city

Comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee gave gifts to Veteran Pham Ngoc Minh, former Assistant to the Staff of Ta Ngan Military Region, residing at My Son Street, Block 9, Vinh Trai Ward

On the afternoon of June 2, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, visited and presented gifts to veterans of  the resistance war against the French in Lang Son city. Participating in the delegation were leaders of the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Civil Service Association and representatives of the People’s Committee of Lang Son city.

During the program, the delegation visited and gave gifts (each gift package included in-kind worth 300 thousand VND and 500,000 VND in cash) to the families: Mrs. Bach Thi Khoi, former captain of Trung Khanh youth guerrilla company, residing at Le Dai Hanh street, block 7, Vinh Trai ward; Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh, former Assistant to the Staff of Ta Ngan Military Region, residing at My Son Street, Block 9, Vinh Trai Ward; Mr. Duong Huu Gia, former Commander of the Military Command of Bac Son District, residing at Nguyen Du Street, Block 1, Dong Kinh Ward; Mr. Truong Han Sang, former Head of Lottery Management Board of Lang Son town, resides at Nguyen Du street, block 3, Dong Kinh ward.

At the visiting places, the delegation graciously encouraged, inquired about their health and expressed deep gratitude for the dedication of veterans in the cause of defending the Fatherland.

At the same time, he hope that the veterans continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldier, overcome all difficulties, always be a shining example for the younger generation to follow and propagate and mobilize their children and neighbors to follow the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State.
