Lang Son launches website, Zalo app to settle administrative procedures

(LSO) – The Public Administration Centre in Lang Son province on October 16 organised a ceremony to launch a website and Zalo application to handle administrative procedures.

After receiving approval from the provincial authorities in July, the centre began building the website with an editorial board and specific operation rules. During a trial period from July to September, 30 articles about the centre’s main activities, and 15 documents (including announcements, reports and invitation letters) were posted on the website.

The website officially operated on September 15 with the domain name of hanhchinhcong.langson.gov.vn.

Besides posting significant events, news, videos and images related to the centre’s activities, the website gives detailed guidance about process to receive and return results of the administrative procedures to individuals and organisations.

The editorial board of the website makes debut.

Meanwhile, Zalo app has been used to handle administrative procedures since May 29 under the Memorandum of Understanding between the provincial Department of Information and Communications and VNG Joint Stock Company. The move aims to promote IT application into administrative reform, as well as create the best conditions for local organisations and people to submit documents online and look up information related to administrative procedures and document settlement status.

At the launching ceremony, major functions of the website and Zalo app were introduced to the participants.
