Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Vietnamese Student Association offer incense and newspaper to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday

On the morning of June 17, at the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh (Lang Son city), the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of the province held a ceremony to offer incense and newspaper workers to celebrate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2023) and commended outstanding students and young people.

At the ceremony, the delegates respectfully offered incense, flowers, and remembered President Ho Chi Minh with infinite gratitude. At the incense offering ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Student Union announced the outstanding achievements that the youth of Lang Son have achieved in recent years. Notably, the Youth Union at all levels of the province has carried out over 1,000 projects and young people’s work to participate in the construction of a new rural and civilized urban area; building of 5 “red scarf” houses; 2 “happy” houses for members with difficult circumstances, orphans…; handing over 22 “houses of compassion” to former youth volunteers, policy families, and poor households; implementing 31 works of lighting up village roads over 23km long; planted more than 648,000 trees…

On this occasion, the Vietnam Student Association of the province honored 10 typical students in the campaign “Lang Son Students – Beautiful stories” in 2023; Provincial Standing Committee commended 5 typical young people in the campaign “One good news every day, one beautiful story every week” in Lang Son province.
