Summary of the province’s digital transformation in the first 6 months of the year: Focusing on implementing solutions to complete the set targets and tasks

Attending the conference were Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Deputy Head of Standing Committee of Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee; leaders of departments, sectors, People’s Committees of districts and city.

Over the past time, the digital transformation work in the province has been directed to implement drastically on all 5 pillars (in the party agency, development of digital government, digital economy, digital society, digital border gate) and achieved some important results. Up to now, the province has completed 19/30 targets of the target to 2025 set out in Resolution No. 49-NQ/TU of the Provincial Standing Committee on Digital Transformation. Up to now, the province has established 1,676 community digital technology groups with more than 9,000 members. From the beginning of the year until now, the Provincial People’s Committee and other departments, agencies, People’s Committees of districts and cities have issued a system of documents directing, operating, paying attention to allocating funds and human resources to carry out the digital transformation. Thereby, the awareness of all levels, sectors and people and businesses in the province about digital transformation has been raised.

Typically, the application of digital certificates, digital signatures and the province’s official email system is implemented to 100% of state agencies of the province from provincial to commune levels. The information system to handle administrative procedures is maintained in stable operation. Up to now, the installation of QR Codes of street, block, public works and scenic relic sites in the province has been completed; 100% of provincial hospitals, medical centers of districts and city, and education and training divisions of districts and city all implement non-cash payment…

At the conference, the delegates discussed a number of issues such as: installing digital applications, solving administrative procedures in the digital environment; digital economy development in agriculture; solutions to promote the development of digital transformation in the area…

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee noted the results achieved in the provincial community, and pointed out some limitations such as some work results are still low, human resources, digital transformation infrastructure have not met the requirements, the connection and sharing of shared data still have shortcomings…

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee asked the Steering Committee of the Digital Transformation at all levels to review all the low and unfulfilled targets and tasks of the year in order to propose solutions for implementation. All levels and sectors continue to implement Project No.06 on population, electronic identification and authentication serving the digital transformation in the period of 2022 – 2025, with a vision to 2030; strengthen the digitization of records and results of administrative procedures; promote the settlement of procedures in the network environment. Along with that, continue to implement e-commerce, non-cash payment; review solutions to ensure network information safety and security and strengthen training and retraining of digital transformation knowledge and skills for people, businesses and community digital technology groups; evaluate the effectiveness of projects on information technology application software to avoid overlapping and wasteful work. The Steering Committee for Digital Transformation at all levels should actively inspect, urge, guide and remove difficulties to promote the development of digital transformation in the locality.
