The Provincial Women’s Union signed a cooperation program with the State Bank of the province and the provincial Red Cross Society for the period of 2023 – 2027

On the afternoon of August 21, the Provincial Women’s Union held a signing ceremony of the cooperation program with the State Bank of Vietnam – Lang Son provincial branch and the provincial Red Cross Society for the period of 2023 – 2027.

Accordingly, the Provincial Women’s Union and the State Bank of Vietnam – Lang Son Provincial Branch agreed to sign with the following contents: effectively implement the implementation of policies and laws on credit activities for social policies, credit for agricultural and rural development and other types of credit; organizing activities to improve the effectiveness of implementation of the national financial inclusion strategy, focusing on financial education for women, contributing to limiting black credit; rising awareness and progress towards the good implementation of the National Strategy on Gender Equality for the period of 2021 – 2030 and enhance information sharing, closely coordinate in communication about the activities of the two units, social security work and other coordinated activities.

Also in the program, the Provincial Women’s Union signed a cooperation program with the Provincial Red Cross Society on humanitarian social security work for the period of 2023 – 2027. The contents of the signing include: Propaganda, education and awareness raising for officials, members, women and volunteers of 2 units on social policies; mobilizing resources to build housing projects, auxiliary works, support livelihood models for members of 2 units; organizing humanitarian activities to implement social security policies, helping members to stabilize their lives; coordinating in organizing the implementation of the national target program on poverty reduction and social assistance programs related to poor women, officers and members of the Red Cross Society in extremely difficult circumstances; coordinating in guiding the development of advanced models and examples and inspecting and supervising humanitarian activities carried out by the two units.

At the signing ceremony, leaders and specialists of the units discussed and contributed ideas to implement the most effective coordination activities. The coordination program took effect immediately after being signed by the units.
