Lang Son has 4 grassroots women’s union presidents who were commended and rewarded by the Central Vietnam Women’s Union

According to the Provincial Women’s Union, on the morning of October 19, in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2023), the Central Vietnam Women’s Union organized a program to praise the excellent president of the national grassroots women’s union in 2023, with the theme “October flowers”. Lang Son province had 4 excellent grassroots women’s union presidents attending and being praised and rewarded at the program.

The program was attended by 293 outstanding grassroots women’s union presidents representing more than 14 thousand grassroots women’s union presidents from 63 provinces, cities, and armed forces units nationwide. The youngest delegate is 31 years old, the oldest is 55 years old. During the program, the Central Vietnam Women’s Union awarded certificates of merit, honoring 293 outstanding grassroots women’s union presidents.

Specifically, 4 excellent grassroots women’s union presidents of Lang Son province attended the program, including: Mrs. Nong Ngoc Anh, President of the Women’s Union of De Tham commune, Trang Dinh district; Mrs. Le Thi Kim Dung, President of the Women’s Union of Chi Lang commune, Chi Lang district; Mrs. Dao Thi Thuy Linh, President of the Women’s Union of Vu Le commune, Bac Son district; Mrs. Loc Thuy Huong, President of the Women’s Union of Phu Xa commune, Cao Loc district.

Within the framework of the program, previously on October 18, delegates visited President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and paid tribute to Uncle Ho; Meeting with Party and State leaders.

The program aims to praise and recognize the team of president of grassroots women’s associations in communes, wards and towns with outstanding achievements in the work of the association and the women’s movement. This is also an opportunity for the grassroots women’s association presidents to exchange, share, and learn knowledge, experience, methods, and skills in implementing the association’s tasks; propagate, educate, disseminate and replicate typical operating models and good practices of grassroots associations.
