Presenting 212 Lunar New Year gifts in Lang Son city

On the afternoon of December 18, the City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son city organized a program to give gifts for Tet of Charity in 2023 to poor, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances in Lang Son city.

Leaders of the City People’s Council and representatives of philanthropists presented compassionate Tet gifts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in the area.

In the program, the sponsor is Mr. Bui Bao Chau’s family (Tam Thanh ward, Lang Son city) who donated 212 gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances in the city, each gift is 500 thousand VND, total value awarded is 106 million VND.

This is a meaningful activity of the benefactor responding to the plan to implement the movement to organize Tet activities of the City People’s Committee and the 2024 Year of the Dragon  “Tet of Kindness” plan of the City Red Cross Society. Meaningful gift to provide material and spiritual support so that the poor, people in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people can enjoy spring and celebrate the nation’s traditional Lunar New Year according to local conditions, contributing to building a united and compassionate community.
