A typical “3-good” student of Lang Son

Making great efforts in studying, recently, Pham Nguyen Bao Ngoc, student of 11C2 class, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son city was the only student in the province who was awarded the certificate of merit “3-good student” by the Central Youth Union for the 2022 – 2023 school year.

The title “3-good student” is an annual noble award by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to students of high schools, vocational- continuing education centers education with excellent achievements in studying and actively participating in community activities. To achieve this noble title, Bao Ngoc has made continuous efforts in studying and participating in extracurricular activities.

Pham Nguyen Bao Ngoc is known as a student with outstanding academic achievements and a typical Youth Union member of the school. During her 11 years in school, Bao Ngoc has always been an excellent student with an average score of 8.5 or higher in all subjects and good behavior. She is a member of the Scientific and Technical Research Club and Olympia SNS and has won many awards in scientific and technical competitions. Particularly, she won a third prize in Chemistry at the National science and technology competition for high school students in the 2022 – 2023 school year, a first prize in the Provincial science and technology competition for the 2022 – 2023 school year, a consolation prize in the 15th Creative contest for youth and children in Lang Son province in 2023…

Talking about her learning method, Pham Nguyen Bao Ngoc shared: “In class, I always try to pay attention and listen to the teacher’s lectures. If there are any difficult lessons, I often ask the teacher immediately or work with my friends to find the answer. I especially love Chemistry. Many people are afraid of Chemistry because they think it is too boring, only full of formulas. However, the subject answers many natural phenomena, it has high applicability in real life and helps me understand more about chemical reactions, so I have been gradually fascinated without realizing it. To study the subject well, I do many exercises and use all the formulas thoroughly. In addition, I often join groups on Facebook to learn how to solve problems quickly and learn more from people with similar interests across the country.”

Besides studying, Bao Ngoc also actively participates in volunteer activities to develop soft skills. She regularly participates in competitions organized and launched by the School Youth Union such as Traffic safety for tomorrow’s smiles, Multiple choice test to learn about President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, Rice jar of love, School-level Startup Day, Green Sunday, Extracurricular activity of Youth with the Law, Red Royal Poinciana Campaign… In addition, with a good voice, confident demeanor and love for hosting, she won the title of Champion in the contest “Searching for a talent MC – MC Chu in 2022”.

Ms. Nong Thi Hao, head teacher of grade 11C2, said: “Bao Ngoc is an intelligent, active student with a high sense of responsibility. She is enthusiastic in all activities and movements of the school. I believe that if she continues to promote her ability, she will definitely achieve higher results in the future.”

With the achievements, typically the title of “3-good student” at the central level serves as a stepping stone to further motivate Pham Nguyen Bao Ngoc to strive in realizing her dream. Thereby, it helps to spread the image of students developing comprehensively and actively serving the community to the younger generation.
