Lang Son welcomes the first group of Chinese tourists in 2023

On the afternoon of March 15, at Km0, Huu Nghi International Border Gate, the People’s Committee of Lang Son province hosted a ceremony to welcome the first group of Chinese tourists in 2023 to enter Vietnam. This is an event within the framework of activities to kick-start cross-border tourism between China and Vietnam after a long hiatus due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presented flowers to the leader of the delegation of Chongzuo city

Attending were Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Leaders of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; representatives of leaders of departments, sectors and tourism businesses in the province.

Leading the Chinese delegation was Mr. Bai Bing Bing, Deputy Mayor of Chongzu City People’s Government. Accompanied by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Nanning; representatives of relevant entities.

Welcoming the Chinese tourist delegation, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presented flowers to the leader of the delegation from Chongzuo City. He congratulated China on the resumption of tourism activities and hoped that in the coming time, tourism activities between the two sides would continue to have many prosperity.

The Chinese tourist group of 124 people was carried out immigration procedures by Phuong Nam Star Travel Co., Ltd. to enter through Huu Nghi International Border Gate. Here, leaders of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam gave gifts and wished the delegation a happy and meaningful trip. According to the program, the group will stay for 1 night in Lang Son city, then move to visit the monuments and scenic spots of Hanoi capital and Ha Long (Quang Ninh province).
