Fieldtrip made to explore tourism tours, routes in Lang Son

(LSO) – The organisers of the 11th “Through Viet Bac Heritage Sites” tourism programme in 2019 held a fieldtrip to explore tourism tours and routes in Lang Son on November 3.

The delegation drew representatives from the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of six provinces, namely Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen and Lang Son, as well as travel firms in and outside the locality.

The delegation offers incense to Comrade Hoang Van Thu at his memorial site.

The delegation made surveys on a number of typical tourism sites in the province, including Hoang Van Thu memorial site in Van Lang district, Bac Son Uprising Museum and Hang Hu mandarin garden in Bac Son district, Dong Dang International Train Station and Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Cao Loc district.

The delegation hears to presentation on the documents and exhibits at the Bac Son Uprising Museum.

Officials of the Check Point of the Huu Nghi International Border Gate’s Border Post introduce participants of the delegation on border markers.

In each site, participants discussed and shared experience in boosting tourism development in Lang Son and Viet Bac area in general.

Through the discussions, they evaluated the current situation, potential, tourism products and the possibility in connecting tourism routes and sites of Lang Son and those in other Viet Bac localities, thus creating a link in exploiting tours and routes in the six regional provinces./.
