Launching the program “Vietnamese travel in Vietnam” and stimulating tourism in Lang Son province

(LSO) – On June 19, the Steering Committee of Lang Son Tourism Development held a conference to launch the program “Vietnamese travel in Vietnam” and stimulate tourism in Lang Son province.

Attending and directing the conference was Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee; representatives of some departments, commissions and sectors; representatives of tourism associations, tourism enterprises of Lang Son, Hanoi city and provinces of Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh and Cao Bang.

At the conference, delegates watched the display of promoting the tourism potential and products of Lang Son with the theme “The imprint of the country’s front land” and enjoyed a special cultural program praising natural beauty, people and the cultural heritage of Xu Lang.

In the conference, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee launched the program “Vietnamese travel in Vietnam”.

He hoped that through the cooperation program, businesses will cooperate to propagate and promote the people, culture and tourism potentials of Xu Lang to other localities and international community. At the same time, he stressed that the provincial leaders and the leaders of tourism sector of Lang Son are committed to accompany and create the best conditions for businesses to participate in investment, research, business cooperation, to favorably develop the product for long term and become prosperous in the land of the traditional and hospitable Xu Lang.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested departments, commissions, sectors, unions, People’s Committees of districts and city of the province to coordinate closely, create favorable conditions, join hands with the tourism industry, businesses inside and outside the province etc. in restoring, stimulating and developing tourism.

Tourism businesses in 4 provinces of Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh signed cooperation agreement to stimulate tourism

Afterwards, representatives of the tourism associations of some provinces have contributed ideas, proposed some solutions to stimulate domestic tourism such as improving quality and building key tourism products; strengthening tourism links among localities, creating diverse, sustainable tours and so on.

In the conference, representatives of the tourism association and 46 tourism businesses in 4 provinces including Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh signed a cooperation agreement to stimulate tourism with many attractive discount programs and committed to ensuring the quality of products and services, bringing satisfaction to visitors.

Previously, the tourism associations and tourism businesses of provinces had surveyed a number of famous tourist sites in the area such as Mau Son, To Thi Mountain and Thanh Mac Citadel.
