The Provincial People’s Committee held the regular press conference in the second quarter

(LSO) – In the afternoon of 24 July, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired the regular press conference of the People’s Committee of Lang Son in the second quarter of 2020.

Attending the press conference were representatives, reporters of 13 central and local press agencies; leaders of the Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission; leaders of departments, sectors and unions of the province.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized: ‘In the first months of 2020, due to the Covid – 19 epidemic, the socio-economic development situation in the province encounter many difficulties and challenges.’

However, with the help of central ministries, sectors, the drastic direction and urging of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee, together with the efforts of all levels, sectors, businesses and people, the socio-economic situation in the province has gradually overcome difficulties and has been growing steadily.

It is the significant contributions from the media and press agencies that Lang Son province has achieved positive results in the fields.

Leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, departments and sectors always create the most favorable conditions for journalists and reporters of the press agencies inside and outside the province to operate in accordance with regulations.

He also expected that in the coming time, the press agencies will continue to pay attention, accompany Lang Son province to convey the information about the activities and fields of the province to the public in an objective and precise way.

At the press conference, representatives of a number of press agencies commented on a number of issues such as solutions of Lang Son province to support enterprises to definitively solve ground clearance; impacts on the environmental landscape when building the cable car system on Mau Son tourist area; proposal to the province to enhance information for the press on the activities of the province; Department of Information and Communication has written guidance and handling communication crisis; all levels and branches of the province create conditions for the press agencies to receive information quickly and accurately to publish; suggestion to the Provincial People’s Committee to provide more information on experience and solutions to reduce all three criteria of traffic accidents and transportation management solutions; the situation of logistic infrastructure and parking lot serving import-export activities across localities etc.

Mr. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of provincial departments and sectors answered the recommendations and received the opinions of the press agencies related to the fields and activities of socio-economic development of the province.

Also at the press conference, representatives of the Propaganda and Training Commission of Provincial Party Committee had orientations for press activities in the province in the coming time.
