Dialogue on natural resources and environment with enterprises and cooperatives in the area

– On the afternoon of March 30, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a meeting for dialogue on natural resources and environment with businesses and cooperatives in the area.

Attending were the leaders of the Provincial Business Association, the Association of cooperatives, related departments, sectors, the People’s Committees of districts and city and 30 enterprises and cooperatives representing businesses and cooperatives in the province.

At the conference, there were 13 comments of businesses and cooperatives for the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on issues related to production and business premises; land allocation for lease; land use plannings; guidance to complete legal procedures for businesses on land; assessment of environmental impacts and problems that arise when businesses carry out production and business projects; advice on planning of waste collection and classification areas in Lang Son city and districts …

The leader of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has answered the issues under its authority. For matters beyond his authority, the Department would receive and report to the Provincial People’s Committee, contributing to promptly solving difficulties and problems of businesses in the production and business process.

Business representatives spoke at the dialogue

At the same time, the leader of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment suggested that businesses in the coming time need to forecast and recalculate the plan to expand production and business and identify land use needs, then propose to the Provincial People’s Committee to have a plan on investment and construction of industrial zones and clusters serving the expansion of production and business. In addition, during operation, if any difficulty arises, the business community should immediately report it to the departments as well as functional agencies for timely guidance and removal.
