Receiving medical equipment and supplies for the prevention of COVID-19

– On the morning of March 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized a ceremony to receive ambulances, medical beds and HFNC ventilators from businesses supporting the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in the province.

Attending the program were Mr. Nong Luong Chan, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Trieu Quang Huy, Member of the Finance – Budget Committee of the National Assembly, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly of Lang Son province; Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. From Central level, there were Mr. Pham Trong Nghia, Member of the Social Committee of the National Assembly, Member of the 15th National Assembly of Lang Son province. Also attending were the leaders of Lang Son city, Chi Lang district, Cao Loc district, units and businesses presenting gifts.

During the program, the leader of Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City), leader of HDBank – Lang Son Branch, a member of SOVICO Group and Doctor Aibolit Company donated 2 high-quality ambulances with optimized functions for timely transportation and treatment of patients and 500 standard hospital beds with a total value of 5 billion VND. TNT Technology and Trading Company Limited (TNT Medical) based in Hanoi has donated 20 HFNC ventilators with a value of 1.5 billion VND. The above medical equipment and supplies donated by the enterprises have practical meanings in supporting medical examination and treatment, prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic and protecting the health of the people in the area.

After receiving, 2 ambulances were handed over to Lang Son City Medical Center and Chi Lang District Medical Center. 500 hospital beds and 20 HFNC ventilators have been handed over to the Department of Health by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for timely allocation to units for safe and effective use.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, expressed his gratitude towards the good hearts and active participation of businesses in supporting the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the area. He expected that units, businesses and benefactors continue to support pandemic prevention and control in the province, contributing to improving the effectiveness of pandemic prevention and control, protecting safety and health of the people in the province so that Lang Son can proactively, flexibly and safely adapt to the complicated developments of the pandemic.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested units received the above medical equipment and supplies to use them safely and effectively to best serve the needs of health protection of the people.
