Receiving 1 billion VND to support the program “Internet connection and computers for students”

– On March 28, the People’s Committee of Lang Son province held a ceremony to receive funds to support the program “Internet connection and computers for students” supported by Bao Minh Corporation.

Attending ceremony were Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of Bao Minh Joint Stock Corporation and related departments and sectors.

Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee spoke at the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Provincial People’s Committee informed about the situation and prevention of COVID-19 disease in the province in the past time. Especially the effects of the pandemic on education. Accordingly, through the current review in the province, there are more than 34,400 students lacking online learning devices. Through advocacy and support from businesses and benefactors, up to now, 1,150 students have been supported with online learning devices.

Next, the representative of Bao Minh Corporation presented to the Provincial People’s Committee an amount of 1 billion VND to support the program “Internet connection and computers for students” to support disadvantaged students in the locality with necessary equipment to serve and meet the needs of effective learning;

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee thanked Bao Minh Joint Stock Company for the support of the program “Internet connection and computers for students” in the province; he believed that this support will create conditions for the education and training sector to have more resources to effectively carry out educational tasks, in the immediate future, the 2021-2022 school year.

The representative of Bao Minh Corporation presented funds to support the program “Internet connection and computers for students” to the Provincial People’s Committee.

He directed provincial departments and sectors, especially the Department of Education and Training to develop plans and quickly allocate funds to districts that are in need; allocate funds to the right target and promote efficiency.

The Vice Chairman hoped that in the coming time, Bao Minh Corporation would continue to pay attention to and support social security activities in the area.
