More than 250 delegates attended a training conference on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation

Overview of the training conference

On June 6, the Provincial Steering Committee 35 held a professional training conference on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation and fighting against false and hostile views in cyberspace. Mr. Phung Quang Hoi, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 at the provincial level chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were more than 250 delegates who are members of the  Provincial Steering Committee 35; members of expert groups, collaborators, secretariat of Provincial Steering Committee 35; representatives of members of steering committees at district and equivalent levels, the core force in implementing tasks.

Mr. Phung Quang Hoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 at the provincial level gave the opening speech at the conference.

In the opening speech, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Commission and Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 affirmed that protecting the ideological foundation of the Party is an important task. He suggested that delegates focus on studying documents, pay attention to listen to topics, actively share experiences and professional skills in implementing tasks of the steering committee 35 at the unit. From there, delegates promote the role, raise the sense of responsibility to participate in the struggle, prevent malicious information, plot and countermeasures of hostile forces.

The delegates to the conference

During the course of one day, the delegates received four training sessions on four topics: strengthening the fight, preventing and dealing with malicious information, wrong and hostile views, correcting misconceptions, and protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in line with the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress; skills in writing news, response articles, refuting malicious information, wrong and hostile views on social networks; skills in handling communication crises, organizing and coordinating combat forces on social networks; guide to ensure the security of important information systems related to national security in the province and skills to use and protect personal information on social networks. From there, the sessions raise awareness and propaganda skills to protect the ideological foundation of the Party, fight against wrong and hostile views, contribute to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the locality.
