Provincial Fatherland Front Committee performs social security work in Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district

On October 16, the delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Mr. Nong Luong Chan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to carry out social security work in Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district.

During the program, the delegation worked at Huu Lien Commune People’s Committee to grasp the implementation of social security and care for the poor in the first 9 months of 2022 of the commune. Accordingly, the commune has received and transferred 226 gifts from all levels and sectors to policy families, people with meritorious services, and poor households in the area. At the same time,the commune received and distributed 2,910 kg of rice to 42 poor households; financial support for 1 case of serious illness for treatment, gifts for 9 students with extremely difficult circumstances on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year…
Speaking at the meeting, the leader of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee noted the results achieved by the commune in implementing all aspects of work. At the same time, it is expected that the Party Committee and commune authorities will continue to do well in social security work, take care of the poor and policy families; unite to build a strong political system, mobilize the people to take advantage of potentials and strengths for socio-economic development, building a growing homeland…
On this occasion, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee gave gifts to Huu Lien commune and gave 10 gifts to 10 poor households in the commune, each worth 500,000 VND.
